Turn It Up!

Turn It Up! Is an independently-owned music store based in the western New England area. Store locations include Northampton, MA, Brattleboro, VT, Keene, NH and Montague, MA. With the decline in independent record stores over the years, Turn It Up's success is impressive. The shop has been in operation since 1995, and has built up quite a reputation for having an excellent selection of new and used CDs, DVDs, LPs and music memorabilia for low prices. One of their hit gimmicks is the customer’s ability to sell their used CDs, DVDs, and Vinyl for cash, store credit, or trade it in for another item. Customers also have the option to listen to the music before they buy it.

Throughout the stores’ seventeen years in existence they have put out a series of radio and TV promotional ads, as well as a website. On the website, customers can join a mailing list to receive updates, view store information, a photo gallery, and most important – have the ability to purchase music through Turn It Up!’s online Amazon store. This feature allows customers to browse the stores’ music archives from the comforts of their home.

Two years ago Turn It Up! also joined the Facebook community.
